Frame the Memory

For its centennial Coral Gables wants to collect stories from you, the community that makes it The City Beautiful. 

Upload a photo and description. Make sure to include in your description how it’s connected to Coral Gables. They can be historic, personal or just scenic. Shared stories will be posted on the city’s centennial site and on the city’s social platforms through 2025, the city’s centennial year, so be sure to keep coming back and see other community stories.

Ideas for inspiration:​

  • Before or After: Submit before and after photos. Some places and people are so special they stay with us as they change.

  • Frame the memory: Take an old photo and try to match it with the backdrop of today. It’s like traveling in time. You’ll see what we mean.

  • Collage: Compile a graphic of some of your favorite City Beautiful photos that speak to one idea.
